Spiritual Root Cause for Cancer

Traci Morin speaking at a woman's conference

Failing to Take Action to Solve Long Standing Life Conflicts.

In the world of cancer in our society, it is the number two (2) killer in the United States. More often than not, the cancer “victim” has a pattern of long standing life problems that have been “eating them up inside”.

Their inability or unwillingness to effectively deal with these problems is what created the cancers. Often, cancer is the manifestation of the person’s conflicting desires to escape the situation and to “keep things as they are” because change would be too painful. These people might be the type who stuff their emotions, live with guilt – not letting themselves loose from past issues or failures, to unresolved conflict in relationships such as broken relationships with God, Self or others; both destroy the anti-unconogens and when two (2) are not present in all cells, it results in cancer.

So what’s going on inside of you? There’s an old saying that goes, “it eats at you like a cancer”. When you start to meditate on hatred against an individual who has wronged you, as you start to focus on that with resentment, anger, hatred, retaliation, bitterness and unforgiveness. Long term, your body is a chemical manufacturing toxins out of bitterness and anger. The bible says bitterness is like a gall; gall is like a poison that poisons and even changes the DNA code. How does this occur, one it creates a volume of toxins and destroy antioncogenes, cell is compromised and you have cancer, just like that! Helplessness and hopelessness breeds cancer.
What is the solution!

Cancer cells develop in each of us all day long, but a peaceful heart and mind kills the cells! Peace with others/self/God so peace of Mind is the antidote to cancers.

If you are one of those having trouble with unforgiveness towards God, self or others and need help, check us out. We can help you to become free from past issues. Visit us at http://www.journey2wholeness.org for solutions.

Do You Suffer From Depression?

Traci Morin speaking at a woman's conference

Millions of Americans suffer from clinical or manic depressive disorders. Did you know there is a way of escape without drugs?

Did you know despair, guilt, shame, not loving for who you are (self-hatred, self-rejection) causes depression? Losses of someone you love, loss of job or big changes such as moves away from personal support, can also bring on depression.

I want to address those who have a hard time accepting self manifesting as shame, guilt or self-hatred, self-rejection.

In fact many Christians have depression as much as the world. Did you know it says in Matthew 22:37-39 to Love God with all your heart, soul and mind and love others as yourself? We are commanded to love ourselves!

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

What is the problem? What happens when you live with self accusation; not able to forgive yourself from the things in the past. Usually they turn against yourself (self hatred) – which can be not liking your body, not liking who you are or not liking your personality. Those with self-hatred manifest in self-sabotage jobs, relationships, etc.

The enemy wants to kill, steal and destroy you. Jesus warns us about Satan…. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (John 10:10-11)

If he can get you stuck in negative thoughts about self – your failures and past sins, not allowing yourself off the hook, he’s got you. Did you know people who are clinically depressed might spend 90 percent of their time thinking about the one negative and 10 percent of their time thinking about the nine positives. Thinking thinking! As depression deepens, the individual might start to feel that things are hopeless. That is exactly what the enemy wants to take you – hopelessness. but our hope is in Christ.

Where do thoughts come from? Did you know not all your thoughts are your own? Did you know we are spiritual and the enemy is spiritual and he knows your past and he is the accuser! He loves to accuse the saints of God. That is why the word of good is good to put out those fiery darts.

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Eph. 6:16

How many of you repented for the things in the past but you cannot believe your forgiven? Is God’s Word true or not! Isaiah 43:25

My question to you is, if the Lord sent his son to forgive you of your sins, and when you repent and his word says he no longer remembers, why are you allowing the enemy to accuse you! Remember that is satan’s job to get you to doubt God’s promises. Hang on to God’s promises.

What happens when I live in some of these negative emotions? One, your body lines up to what you believe and the seretonins, dopamine or norepinephrine go down which are neurotransmitters in the brain that carries impulses among all the brain cells. All these chemicals are feel good chemicals but when somoene does not feel good about themselves or cannot get over guilt or shame, the chemicals decrease causing depression. You go to the doctor for depression and the doctor gives you seretonin enhancers called anti depressents which gives a false peace because only God is our real peace. You see, depression causes chemical imbalances in the brain through a complex interplay of body, mind and spirit.

If God is the creator of all life, then you are unique and there is only one of you. Some of you have heard negative words spoken over your lives. You have to choose to believe God’s word over their words. Remember, your father in heaven is your real father and you will be with him for eternity.

This is what God says about you:

God made you, you are His workmanship – you are wonderfully made
Ps 139:13-14 …For you created my inmost being…. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

You are deeply loved
Jer 31:3 The LORD…says: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”

You are not rejected
Is 41:9 “…I have chosen you and have not rejected you.”

You are precious in God’s sight
Is 43:4 … you are precious and honored in my sight, and …I love you

You are the ‘apple’ of God’s eye
Zec 2:8 …This is what the LORD Almighty says…whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye

You are God’s friend
John 15:15 “…. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

You are God’s child
John 1:12-13 To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God– children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

You are God’s delight
Ps 150:4 The LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.

God is with you and you are His joy
Zep 3:17 The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

You have a hope and a future
Jer 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

How do I get out of depression?

First, who are you listening to. Is God’s word true or not. Are you going to allow your past failures or what others have said? Who are you going to define you? God’s word or past word curses? Are they really true about you?

In 2 Corinthians 10:5 it says “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”  What does this mean? It means anything and I mean anything against the word of God, don’t listen to it, but cast it down.

Second, stop comparing yourself to others. Learn to be content with who you are and stop looking at your temporary you and get to know who you really are, the eternal person you are. Did you know comparing yourself to others is a form of envy and jealousy? Praise God and hold up your head that you represent the creation of God.

Third, forgive yourself. Jesus forgave you, didn’t he? When you gave your life to Christ, didn’t you repent of your sins? If you did, then it is under the blood. If you have failed since then, go to the Lord and confess your sins to him. That is why he was sent so that we can go to him at any time and confess our sins. God knew no man can be perfect and he sent his son for us to have access. Conviction is from the Lord and condemnation is from the devil.

God says in the Bible, “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins” (Isaiah 43:25 Heb. 8:12; 10:17). He chooses never to bring them up again. He doesn’t forget because He cannot. But, He doesn’t remember them either; that is, He will never bring them up again. Why? Because they have been forgiven in His Son Jesus. It is under the blood which covers forever. Don’t listen to the accuser who wants you to keep remembering your past failures and sins.

Remember the Lord your God loves you with an everlasting love. He sent his son to earth not to condemn but bring life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16, 17 Bible KJV)

This should restore your hope back. For now there are faith, hope, and love. But of these three, the greatest is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13

Fourth, if someone abused you, rapped or molested you, it is necessary for you to forgive them.

I know the pain of someone not loving you and abusing you. Your heart is broken, your spirit is crushed and your mind is filled with anger and bitterness. Mercy, and forgiveness are merely words we hardly remember the meaning to.

As long as a person holds onto bitterness, then the memory stays in the mind as torment. We are commanded to forgive. Part of the Lord’s prayer is to forgive others.

Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” (Mark 11:25) when we didn’t deserve it.

So why should you forgive? Remember that Forgiving others is an absolute necessity. In Mat. 6:14-15 Jesus said that if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Think about that. Dwell on all the sins of your past, and how grateful you are that our heavenly father is merciful and forgiving. Jesus commanded us to forgive, and this is why we must do it.

This begins the process of healing is when we can forgive those who hurt, abused or misused.

As you begin to heal, Satan will try with all his principalities to remind you of the hurt thats been put upon you. He will try to restore your bitterness. You must continue to get in line with the word of God and allow the healing power of the cross to invade your thoughts. That means stay out of self-pity by not replaying those thoughts to become one with bitterness again.

Now sometimes bitterness can be a stronghold which makes it hard to forgive. Then, if that is the case, a person needs deliverance and ministry to heal the broken heart.

Fifth, is learning to be grateful for what you have.  It is being content in all things.  Philippians 4:11-13 says:

11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Satan is the biggest robber of contentment.  He gets the children of God to get their eyes off the Lord onto the world in what others have or see blessings of others.  Overcoming discontent is a matter of relying on God; trusting him.

One has to come to the place of contentment in all things.  It is learning to give praise in all things even in trials.  1 Peter 1:3-21 is a great scripture of promise.

You see when you can turn your discontentment to praise to him, something changes in the brain.  It is a choice but it is warfare you are doing against the enemy by praising the Lord.

In Conclusion: All these steps will bring up the seretonin levels.

Worry, Anxiety or Stress – Look to what you are doing to your Body!

Traci Morin at a speaking engagement

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy!

1 Corinthians 10:5 says “5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Did you know that the emotional and physical responses you have to stress are set in motion by a series of chemical releases and reactions? Find out what is really going on inside your body and inside your brain and why stress is bad to the body, soul and spirit.

When you are in long-term stress or worry at work, home, etc., this is what happens.  Let’s look at the body:

Adrenal gland mounted atop kidneys have just released chemical cortisol weapons of brain destruction.

Cortisol is called the death hormone.  It is released to give a person supernational strength to get out of danger.  Then, when the danger has passed, launched immediate counter-calm hormones before hippocampus is hammered by cortisol.”the chemical, Cortisol stops secreting and you go back to peace.

God made us to stay at homeostatis.  So immediate a hormones rush to your adrenal glands to suppress the streaming cortisol on its way to your brain. Other hormones rush to your brain to round up all the remnants of cortisol that made it to your hippocampus.

After a perceived danger has passed, God made your body to balance itself and go back to homeostatis.  Although the hyperactivating sympathetic nervous system jumps into action immediately, it is very slow to shut down and allow the tranquilizing parasympathetic nervous system to calm things down.

In other words in response to stress, the brain’s hypothalamus secretes a hormone that causes the pituitary gland to secrete another hormone that causes the adrenals to secrete cortisol. When levels of cortisol rise to a certain level, several areas of the brain – especially the hippocampus – tell the hypothalamus to turn off the cortisol-producing mechanism. This is the proper feedback response.

Some people have lived in extreme fear all their lives.

  • How many of you grew up with one of your parents, not knowing what would set them off, lived walking on eggs?
  • How many of you have had traumatic events (car wrecks, loss of jobs, etc. causing devastations or sudden loss of loved ones that brought shock like numbness?
  • How many of you have been severely hurt by someone you trusted to love you and abused you instead either verbally, spiritually or physically resulting a broke heart?  Result, you have a hard time trusting people.
  • How many of you live in fear of rejection of others a result growing up not feeling loved or fitting in.
  • Lived in war or been in war times.
  • Traumatic events such as lived through tornadoes, earth quakes, etc.
  • Traumatic birth
  • Emergency surgery

Guess what, you’ve been programmed by a spirit of fear!  Your body does not know how to get back to peace.  Once your stress response has been activated, the system wisely keeps you in a state of readiness – fight to flight.

Excessive cortisol can make it difficult to think or retrieve long-term memories. That’s why people get befuddled and confused in a severe crisis. Their mind goes blank because “the lines are down.”

If either the one of the stimulating or tranquilizing chemical forces dominates (the spirit of fear) or what I call fight to flight responses because you’ve been programmed to be ready, then you will experience an on-going state of internal imbalance.  This condition is known as stress. And it can have serious consequences for your brain cells.

Parasympathetic and Sympathetic Nervous System

The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) turns on the fight or flight response. In contrast, the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) promotes the relaxation response.

The strongmen (the spirit of fear known as stress or worry) are hormones, the chemical messengers produced by endocrine glands. Named after a Greek word meaning “to set in motion,” hormones travel through the bloodstream to accelerate or suppress metabolic functions.

The trouble is that some stress hormones don’t know when to quit pulling. They remain active in the brain for too long – injuring and even killing cells in the hippocampus, the area of your brain needed for memory and learning.  It often requires conscious effort to initiate your relaxation response and reestablish metabolic equilibrium.

The primary area of the brain that deals with stress is its limbic system. Because of its enormous influence on emotions and memory (especially past negative events), the limbic system is often referred to as the emotional brain.

Whenever you perceive a threat, imminent or imagined, your limbic system immediately responds via your autonomic nervous system – the complex network of endocrine glands that automatically regulates metabolism.

To put it in a nutshell, you have a gland in the brain called the hypothalmus, the seat to your emotions.  Every thought, negative or positive, responds the hypothalmus, the brain center of switches, to talk to the pineal gland, limbic system, and other areas of your body to release or pull back chemicals.  So, every thought you have – either negative or positive, releases good or bad chemicals.  Not only that, every cell in your body is affected by chemical releases.

The bible says, bitterness is like a gall.  Gall is a poison!  So, when a person is in bitterness towards another, god or self, they are literally poisening every cell in their body.  This in itself produces cancer and other diseases.  Bitterness is stress to the body as well!

The term “stress” is short for distress, a word evolved from Latin that means “to draw or pull apart.” The Romans even used the term districtia to describe “a being torn asunder.”

Distress Signals from Your Brain

When you are in stress or worry, either at work feeling the pressure or at home with your children, husband or financial issues, economic issues, job issues, and you are not able to give it over to the Lord over long periods of time, the death hormone is released poisoning every cell in your body.

In 1 Peter 5:7 it says “7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

When in stress or worry, ther hormones shut down functions during the emergency. Growth, reproduction, and the immune system all go on hold. Blood flow to the skin is reduced. That’s why chronic stress leads to sexual dysfunction, increases your chances of getting sick, and often manifests as skin ailments. With your mind and body in this temporary state of metabolic overdrive, you are now prepared to respond to a life-threatening situation.

What develops, heart issues, all types of anxieties develop, insomnia, depression, allergies, environmental allergies such as MCS/EI and many other diseases develop.

To go further, other poisonous chemicals released when in guilt, shame, bitterness, fear of rejection, fear of man, not able to forgive yourself of life’s issues in the past.

Again, every thought you have releases either good or bad chemicals in the blood.  These chemicals affect every cell in your body but also changes DNA code to bring about diseases.

How do we get free!  It is learning how to apply God’s ways such as discerning good and evil, casting down thoughts, the word of God, casting our cares to him and trusting him with our lives.

1 John 4:18 “perfect love cast out fear….”

Matthew 6:26-30 – Jesus says “therefore I tell you, “do not worry about your life, what you eat or drink or about your body and what you will wear, is not life more important that food and the body more important than clothes.  Look at the birds in the air – did you not sew or reap or stow away barns.  Did your heavenly Father feed them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  And who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Why do you worry about clothes.  See how the lilies of the field grow – they do not labor or spin  and did I not tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was dressed like one of these.  And that is how God clothes the grass of the field for that is just here today and tomorrow and then thrown into the fire.  Will he not much more clothe you? Oh, ye of little faith. So do not worry saying, ‘what shall we eat, what shall we drink and what shall we wear?  For the pagans run after all these things and the heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow….for tomrrow will worry about itself and each day has enough trouble of it’s own.

Boaz Name Means Pillar

Traci Morin at a speaking engagement

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy!

Story is under construction at this time but in the process.

The story of Boaz and Ruth.
Boaz’s name n hebrew: pillar of strength – and became was the Bridegroom of Ruth – Isaiah the prophet wrote, “For your Maker is your husband, the LORD Almighty is His name” (Isa. 54:5). Let’s look further, God protected the Israelites in the desert from the Egyptions by becoming a pillar of fire. The Lord protected Israel since their heritage was one day to produce the coming King Jesus. Boaz protected Ruth from molestation by the farm hands.
God protected Israel and Boaz represented redemption as the kinsman redeemer. Who later Jesus became the kindsman redeemer for all mankind through that bloodline.

Going further, King Solomon named one of the pillars of the temple Boaz.  The entrance to God was going through the door first passing the pillars.

Jesus is our strength and passes through our bodies to our heart.

Tired of Those Sleepless Nights; Need a Solution!

Traci Morin at a speaking engagement <li>

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy!

Did you Know!

  • 1 in 3 people will suffer from some form of insomnia during their lifetime.
  • Women are twice as likely as men to suffer from insomnia
  • Insomnia doesn’t just affect young to middle-aged adults, but also children, teens and the elderly.
  • Between 40% and 60% of people over 60 suffer from insomnia
  • Research shows that insomnia plays a significant role in many attempted suicides

What is Insomnia!

Insomnia is a common sleep problem that can affect your quality of life. People with insomnia have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. They may wake up during the night or wake up too early the next morning.

This can be a short-term problem or a long-term problem but the issue is it affects performance on the job or your health.

Long-term affects of insomnia

  • Sleepiness increases the risk for motor vehicle accidents. Studies indicate that drowsy driving is as risky as drunk driving
  • Insomnia wrecks your mood. 40% of psychiatric mood disorders are preceded by insomnia, and insomnia sets in at the same time as another 20% of mood disorders
  • Insomnia makes you sick. A statistical analysis of insomnia’s relationship to absences from work caused by illness clearly found that there is a connection: insomnia is followed by periods of increased absenteeism from illness and disease.
  • Chronic insomniacs have a significantly higher risk of certain medical conditions such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and depression. Some of these can prove fatal.
  • People with insomnia have an above average chance of falling victim to addictions such as alcoholism, drug abuse and smoking.

Causes of Insomnia

There are many possible factors causing insomnia. These can be psychological, physical or spiritual.

The spiritual root to insomnia is some type of stress such as worry about tomorrow, anxiety and stress at the job, over children or even marriage. It could be traumatic events in the past, opening the door to stress.

Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine but a broken spirit drieth up the bones”  The immune system is in the bone.

Some psychological causes of insomnia include the following:

Anxiety – this is where the person feels tension, apprehension, and feelings of helplessness, worry, fear, and uncertainty. This can be caused by a number of factors, including work, money worries, relationship issues, and so forth.

Stress – if a person is feeling stressed, it can affect their ability to sleep.
Depression – is characterised by feelings of sadness, despair, and discouragement.

Again rooted in fear.

Some physical causes of insomnia may include:

  • Hormonal changes in women – these include premenstrual syndrome, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause.
  • Decreased melatonin levels drop – melatonin is a hormone that helps to control sleep, and levels of this hormone decrease as a person ages. Medical conditions – can interfere with a person’s ability to sleep. Such conditions can include allergies, arthritis, asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, and Parkinson’s disease.
  • Pain – which results from injury or an illness can often interfere with a person’s sleeping patterns.
  • Genetics – insomnia can sometimes run in families, although research has yet to determine why.
  • Heartburn – the back up of stomach contents into the esophagus can wake a person several times during the night. During the night, lying down and less frequent swallowing can cause more reflux. Try elevating your head to help ease the problem.
  • Other sleep disorders – such as sleep apnea and periodic arm and leg movements during sleep can make it difficult to gain restful sleep.
Again, most of these issues are rooted in fear.

How can stress cause insomnia?

Worry and fear exhaust the power God gives us to face every day problems and to accomplish responsibilities. These are sinful wastes.

1. Fret not—He loves you (John 13:1)
2. Faint not—He holds you (Psalm 139:10)
3. Fear not—He keeps you (Psalm 121:5)

Fear As a Spiritual Root of Disease

Fear and worry are sin. Fear is a barrier to the promises of God. The scientific community is aware of how our emotions effect our bodies. The limbic system is where our protective emotions originate including fear. The process of creating fear takes place unconsciously in the brain.

Part of your brain controls the physical response o fear and sends a signal directly to the amygdala which stimulates the hypothalamus to produce corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) that triggers the pituitary gland’s discharge of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which stimulates the adrenal gland to secrete cortisol.

Cortisol in the bloodstream causes an increase in glucose production, providing the necessary fuel for the brain and muscles to deal with stress.

My Story of recovery from insomnia

I am a recovered insomniac. In addition to generally sleeping poorly since the time of birth, my insomnia came on from Traumatic events in the wound and outside the would which set me up for fight to flight responses. I suffered through three major episodes of insomnia as an adult. I had traumatic memories, I had no memory up, come to the surface which brought in more fear and stress especially anxiety attacks. In 2000 I felt as though I nearly died from insomnia so severe that I slept as little as an hour a night for days at a time, over a period of many months. I was basically immune to pharmaceutical sleep aids that could have put a horse in a coma, and I had given every imaginable popular remedy a fair try. I certainly believed that I had “tried everything.”

Fortunately, I hadn’t actually tried everything.

I didn’t try God’s way. I had to learn how to deal with stress in my life. Here are the steps I took:

  1. I had to recognize that stress and anxiety was a spirit of fear working in my so I had to recognize it and take responsibility – 1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” Job 15:21 Ps 73:19 88:15,16 119:120 Jas 2:19
  2. That means I had to repent and renounce the spirit of fear to God because fear is the opposite of faith. It is sin!
  3. I had to cast out the spirit of fear and learn to cast my cares to the Lord 1 Peter 5:7.
  4. I had to see he cared for me and start trusting him.
  5. Then praise him and thank him for delivering me.

Sometimes we need that extra help and I had to go through deliverance to get free and did. If you struggle with insomnia and need help, check out our iSchool at http://www.ischool.journey2wholeness.org

I Was Healed of Mitro Valve Prolapse

Traci Morin at a speaking engagement

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy!

My Story!

At age five (5) I was diagnosed with Mitro Valve Prolapse. First, let me tell you how mine developed.

My dad had a plane and we were flying from Dallas to Missouri to see my grandparents at Thanksgiving. At that time, Arkansas was battling forest fires and because of the heat rising, it caused the plane to be very bumpy and me being young and not understanding the situation, was terrified in horror for many hours. By the time we got to Missouri, I was very sick.

When we got back to Dallas, my mom could not put any clothes on me without me gagging. I could not stand anything on my chest. She decided to take me to the doctor and they did an eletro cardiogram on me which indicate my heart in stress.

Again extreme stress or fear can does a number on the heart. That is how I developed Mitro Valve Prolapse which is a damaging of the valve in the heart causing it to skip. When it skips, it is like the heart wants to jump out of your chest and it even throws off your breathing. It is when I’m under stress or worry that my heart will act up.

Since then, through learning about God’s truth, I can cast my cares to him and stop living in stress but trusting God in all situations. 1 Peter 5:7.

Looking For Solutions to Heart Disease?

Traci Morin at a speaking engagement

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy

Heart Disease

With all the latest technology and advances over the past 50 years, heart disease remains a leading cause of death globally and the Number 1 cause of death in the United States. In the United States that means almost 700,000 people die this year from heart disease.

What is Heart Disease

One of the most common is coronary heart disease, which accounted for 71 percent of U.S. heart disease. Other common cardiovascular diseases are congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, pulmonary heart disease and rheumatic heart disease.

Coronary heart disease is caused by a narrowing of the blood vessels that lead to the heart. This occurs when fatty deposits, called atherosclerosis, form along the vessel walls. If these fatty deposits become thick enough to stop blood flow, a heart attack or myocardial infarction results, which can lead to disability or death.

What causes heart Disease

Some say eating fatty food and lack of exercise is the biggest cultpret to heart disease. Is that really true? We all have heard of people who run every day, eat the right food and still have develop heart disease or die from congestive heart failure.

What is the real contributing factor?

God’s word is still true today regardless of our world trying to remove God’s name out of the schools, government and businesses today. Jesus said 365 times “Fear Not”. Do you think there is a connection to why we should not fear?

Fear and anxiety, not cholesterol, have been found causing the narrowing of the blood vessels that lead to the heart. If a person lives in high stress or worry and anxiety over issues of life continually, this causes the rigidity of blood vessels to narrow and causes the plaque to thicken.

Two types of heart problems, angina, stiffening of cartilage muscle, or an explosionary vessel.

Other spiritual issues contributing to heart disease results in unresolved rage and anger, and can be inherited. Angina and exploding vessels have different roots. Classes of exploding vessels: aneurysms, strokes, varicose veins, hemorrhoids and exploding blood vessels in the heart area producing heart attack, is caused by rage and anger and hostility and bitterness (unforgiveness towards others, God and self). Along with range and anger inherited, you also inherit the spirit of fear. The bible says in the last day’s men’s hearts will Fail them because of fear!

Are you plagued with fear or uncontrollable anger? Do you want to be free from these spiritual issues causing heart disease?
If you desire to become free, come through our online school of ministry from the convenience of your home. Visit us at http://www.ischool.journey2wholeness.org to learn more. Classes start soon!

Learn the Spiritual Roots of Asthma

Like I said earlier, asthma is fear of abandonment. I was five (5) years old and my grandparents, who lived in Missouri, wanted me to themselves. My mom drove me up there but she left me behind by leaving without my knowledge. I had no idea the plan and I was very frightened and thought I would never see her again.

My great grandmother lived with my grandparents. She became ill and my grandparents called an ambulance to rush her off to the hospital and since I was so young, was dropped off at a neighbors.

That was very traumatic for me. I was too young to understand. First, my mom left me without me knowing and now great grandmother whisked off and I’m dropped off to strangers. For many years I would cringe when I heard an ambulance and didn’t understand why until much later in life because of the traumatic event.

My parents came back but in the meantime my great grandmother died. Again, lots of emotions that transferred to me as fear. Again, I was left with neighbors to watch over me.

My mom was not a healthy person and many times ended up in the hospital and I had nightmares of her dying. You see how fear can come in!

Later, my parents moved to Mexico. They were suppose to call when they got there but didn’t call for almost two weeks and again had nightmares of my parents dying. More fear and trauma.

Shortly after that I developed asthma. I had it under control until my mom died and my dad was dating a lady I knew was trying to take him away from me and again my asthma got worse and I continually developed bronchial asthma. Until I saw the roots of my fear of abandonment, did I get my healing. I had to come to terms that I could loose my parents to whatever but God would never leave me or abandon me. It is a matter of trust and believing he has my best in the palm of his hands.

Four Steps Overcoming Asthma God’s Way – Part 1

My heart is to set the captives free from the snares of the enemy

Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things that you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you, nor forsake you,’ so that we may boldly say, ‘The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.’”

First, let’s look at what Asthma is:

Asthma is a chronic (long-term) lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing,  chest tightness, shortness of breath and coughing. The coughing often occurs at night or early in the morning.

Asthma affects people of all ages, but it most often starts in childhood. In the United States, more than 22 million people are known to have asthma. Nearly 6 million of these people are children.  Children under the age of five asthma increased more than 160 per cent from 1980 to 1994.

What is behind Asthma

Doctors don’t know the exact cause of asthma. Researchers think a combination of factors interact to cause asthma to develop, most often early in life. These factors include:

  • An inherited tendency to develop allergies,
  • Parents who have asthma
  • Certain respiratory infections during childhood
  • Contact with some airborne allergens or exposure to some viral infections in infancy or in early childhood when the immune system is developing

What does the bible say about Asthma

Asthma is rooted in fear and anxiety and is considered an anxiety disorder.  It wasn’t what the person was breathing that caused the attack. There was something internally that was stiffening the wall. Cell wall rigidity. The toxins are building up in the person from the spiritual root. It only appears those “allergic” things is causing it, but that is the deception. We begin avoiding things now, now we have avoidance behavior on top of the real root! Fear is now even stronger, because fear promotes avoidance.   Once these individuals are healed of the spiritual root, their toxin levels were gone!

How many times does God say “Fear Not” in the bible.  The answer is 365 times and the word “Fear” is listed 528 times.  Is there a reason why the Lord said not to fear?  Is fear the opposite of faith?

Manifestation of Fear

Let’s look at some of the manifestations of fear: fear of man, fear of rejection, fear of failure or fear of abandonment just to name some.

Many children live in stressful family situations today and have to deal with peer pressure to fit in.  How many children live with divorce(s), separation, alcoholic families, two parents working long hours with little time for you.  Many reasons for children to start developing fear.

How to Overcome Asthma

To overcome “Asthma” a person would have to overcome the fear of abandonment, worry and anxiety.

Step 1: If one of your parent(s) abandoned you either through divorce or death or gave you up, or neglect, then take the time to forgive them.

Step 2:  Even if your parents abandoned you or fear of them abandoning you, when you have that thought or feeling of fear, take a moment to recognize the stinking thinking and repent for the spirit of fear.

Step 3: Then cast down spirit of fear to the Lord and cast your cares to him.  In 1 Peter 5:7 it says “cast your cares to him because he cares for you. ”

Step 4:  Realize you are a son or daughter of the most high God and He is truly your parent.  Eternity is spent with him and not your parents.  God will never abandon you.  You can trust Him.
